At gowaaa, your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy outlines how we handle your data when you use our app on the Meta Quest headset. We are committed to ensuring your information is secure and transparent in our practices.
1. Data Collection 💽
gowaaa only collects the following data:
- Oculus ID: A unique identifier provided by Meta.
- Display Name: The name associated with your Oculus account.
- Meta Avatar: The avatar will only be used for multiplayer mode to represent players
2. Purpose of Data Collection 🚀
The data we collect is used for the following purpose:
Displaying Scores on the Leaderboard: The data collected (Oculus ID, Display Name) is used solely to display your username in-game. We do not store or process this data on our own servers.
3. Data Processing 💻
We do not process any data beyond the scope of displaying scores, user display name & representing user with Meta Avatar within the app. All data is handled within the Meta ecosystem & Unity game services, and we do not perform any additional data processing, analytics, or storage on Unity game services or any internal storage on our end.
4. Restrictions on Data Use 🈲
gowaaa will never use your data for the following purposes:
- For marketing or advertising purposes other than what is strictly defined in the Permitted Uses of User Data section of the Meta Developer Data Use Policy (DDUP).
- To profile, discriminate, or encourage discrimination against people based on categories protected by law, regulation, or other Meta terms or policies, including race, sex, age, disability, and sexual orientation.
- To perform, facilitate, or provide tools for surveillance, including the collection, use, or sharing of information about people, groups, or events for law enforcement, national security, or counter-intelligence purposes, without a valid court order.
- To identify a person, including their real name or actual images.
- To combine with any other data collected by us or a third party other than what is specifically defined under the Permitted Uses of User Data section of the DDUP.
